Feeding the Poor with Dignity

At SmartGuy®, we believe true success includes lifting up those most in need. That’s why part of our resources go to FeedMyPoor.com, a growing initiative dedicated to providing fresh, hot meals directly to the hungry.

Through food trucks operating in Los Angeles County, volunteers and partners deliver meals where they are needed most - on the streets, in underserved neighborhoods, and at outreach events. Each truck serves hundreds of people a day, offering not only nourishment but also dignity and hope to those who too often go without.

The vision doesn’t stop there. Together with our support, FeedMyPoor.com is expanding to add more trucks, more routes, and eventually mobile units for hygiene and health services. Every meal served is a reminder that compassion in action can heal communities and bring light to those struggling in darkness.

Building Hope in the Congo

At SmartGuy®, success means more than profit - it means making a difference. That’s why part of what we receive supports projects like the new parish center in the Democratic Republic of Congo, led by Father Raphael Okitafumba Lokola, Vicar General of the Diocese of Tshumbe.

What began as Father Raphael’s effort to feed 25 children at Christmas has grown into a tradition where over 150 children now enjoy full meals on Christmas and Easter. For many, those are the only days they taste rice, meat, and juice.

Now, his mission goes beyond food. The parish center under construction in Shapembe will give children a chapel for prayer, a hall for learning, clean water, and a safe place to play. In this way, Jesus’ words - “Let the children come to me” (Matthew 19:14) - will become a living reality
